How we work: registers, quotes, screenshots and dates
This site does not say which betting site is better. It answers one question: is this address on my province's official list? To answer it, we always follow the same steps.
The five steps for each data point
- We find the regulator's list
Only the official page of each jurisdiction's lottery or institute counts. Press releases and third-party sites are not enough.
- We save a dated copy
We download the page as it is and save its digital fingerprint (SHA-256). That way we know if the official page has changed since our copy.
- We copy the exact quote
Each data point comes with a word-for-word sentence from that copy: the site's name, its address, the Disposición number or the phone number.
- The build checks it
Before publishing, a program compares each quote with the saved copy, letter by letter, and checks that the list is complete. If something does not match, the site is not published.
- We show the date
Each data point says when we copied its source. A copy older than 100 days stops publication until we review it again. If the official site does not let programs like ours in and a person saves the copy from their browser, the limit is 180 days.
What each label means
On the official list. The regulator publishes this address among the authorized sites.
Not on the list. It is not on that list. This does not mean it is illegal in another province.
No verified list. We do not yet have a saved official list for that jurisdiction, so we make no claim about it.
Screenshots and operators
Public pages only
The screenshots of betting sites are our own, taken of pages that anyone can see without signing up, using an automated browser from outside Argentina. We do not open accounts, we do not deposit, and we do not use other people's screenshots. We reject cookies when the notice allows it and close pop-up windows before capturing. If a site does not display from our location, we say so and do not publish an image.
What we report about an operator (limits, payment methods, footer text) comes from a dated saved copy of its public page, and is given as a word-for-word quote.
Official links, no deals
We do not charge to be listed and we do not use affiliate links. The “Go to the official site” button leads only to the exact address published by that province's official list, with no tracking parameters. A program checks every link before publishing.
